The egg that I thought had twins in it hatched and there are no twins :/ you guys all said it looked like there were twins too...
the other egg will hopefully be hatched when I get home from school
I know this, this morning there was a pip in the shell, last night it had only pipped internally. Then I had to go to school, hopefully it will be out by the time I get home
:weee
Okay guys, so I realized I'm not hatching with a broody anymore, I'm using an incubator for the first time. But the egg that was supposed to hatch the 28th, I just heard it peep. The incubator is in my room, I thought I heard one peep earlier but figured it was my imagination. Just now (10:55...
Yes it would :D
But there were so many others that I thought had two in them that I thought I was going crazy :/ I guess we'll see. The first egg hatches the 28, in two days, it has one chick. Then two more will hatch the 31 and one of them has twins
Here is one of the eggs that I think has two chicks in it
This is a one-chick egg, a black blob surfaces once in a while. It's a bit younger
And this is a video of the original egg I thought had two chicks in it, you can see them kicking each other in person.
I will try to get some pictures tonight. I did post a video on YouTube of the first twin egg I noticed. I candled the rest of the eggs this morning and I think there are 2ish more twins. Starting to wonder if I'm seeing things...
Okay, I might be going crazy but I just candled quite a few of the eggs and I swear there are two more eggs with two chicks on them. Am I setting double yolkers without knowing it? In all the years I've had bantams I have never gotten a double yolker from them. Just the standard ones.
