a photo of the pullet with a close up of her lacing is what folks wanted to see after she was posted for sale. Once the lacing photo was posted, she sold in about 5 minutes and we had inquiries with emails sent in case we get any more.
we had no idea they were sold that way either, until we bought three and ended up with all Splash. They were posted for sale as Juvenile Splash. The hen went within an hour. The roos ate still for sale until the end of June, at which time they will get mixed with noodles and veggies. Lesson...
Eggs are coming from a breeder here in NC who shows her birds. Can't remember the name. The hatchery owner knows what we're looking for so he got her to sell us a dozen. Our last hatch was 90% so we hope we can do it again. Will be tossing in some other eggs just to fill the bator. Got another...

They don't look blue to me either but telling blue from black is hard early on sometimes, at least that is what I've been told by more experienced folks. Mine had a lot more apparent blue than those
We really wanted an actual BLRW but didn't view this thread before picking out the chicks. We have a definite splash and maybe the other two are also. Maybe they will be a darker blue splash. They are just over a month old so we are waiting to see how they turn out. We do have a roo, and as we...
