    I find the best way to keep chick dust down is to just raise them outside in a brooder box. No more chick dust in the house!

    WOW, that is some patience to wait 6 weeks before giving shavings! LOL, I couldn't do it. I put hatchings on paper towels for about 1 day if that, then out they go into a brooder shack covered in wood shavings. By 6 weeks I've usually taken away the lights if it's in the upper 30's or low...
