Chicken won't leave the nesting box
My little Cochin is Brooding again. My now egg laying Pullets are laying. He will lay on 2-4 eggs of theirs. I have been taking her out of the nesting box each day, so she will forge and give her a treat. I leave a small water container inside he coop. Just hope she is getting enough. my cochin is about 6 months old. Been laying for about 2 months. she has been in the nesting box for 2 days, not laying. normally we get an egg a day. I have taken her out she seems fine. but goes back in. Is she brooding?- HATTIES COOP
