Aww thanks! I was just outside with my gals. The white hen (which I kinda hope is a boy) is starting to warm up to me. I guess she knows I bear gifts lol. Honestly I love white chickens, especially those with nice big combs, like the classic leghorns.:-)
when was told that I was getting a Plymouth Rock possible rooster I got so excited and then I ended up with this! the jury is still out on what exactly I have there-most likely a barnyard pullet. But I had dreams of one just like brave :-(
if you lived anywhere within 150 miles of me, I would seriously drive to your house break into your coop and steal that ridiculously awesome looking roo!!! :-)
thanks a bunch for your input! I think you're right, they seem healthy thus far. One of them had even snacked out of my hand this morning! Well that made my day :-)
Also, one has a tiny pink comb and no waddles and is a lot smaller than the other. The bigger one has the bigger bright red comb and adult looking waddles.
Hi I'm new to chickens and I got two barred rocks two nights ago that I was told were 4 months old hatchmates. I don't think they look the same age, could it be that they developed differently? Or perhaps one is younger? Please help,
