So I have one Easter egger that has chosen to roost out side of the coop on a roost in the run. Should I be overly concerned. I have put a light in the coop tonight for some warmth. Any ideas?- Baxokie

So I came out back to clean out the chicken coop. One of my hens came along and decided it was time to lay 15 minutes later she did. So we switched to a nipple waterer the other day and I watched the chickens use it quite a bit that evening. I haven't seen them use it when I have been out there. Our ice maker is struggling to keep up right now. I have two gallon milk jugs that I rotate in and out of the coop and today I put a fan out there blowing across one of them and they were loving that.- Baxokie
