Ashtree, I'm so sorry. We have a 10 mo old lab puppy who got into the chicken run the other day. Luckily we were right ther so didn't lose anyone except for ruffled feathers. All the girls headed into the coop where they knew he couldn't get. I think the dog brain takes over and the chase...
Wonderful. Do you have any chicks/keets? I'd like little ones so that I can hand raise them. We are by Thunderbird so could come and get some whenever is convenient.
I was wondering if anyone knew where to get guinea chicks near Norman? I missed them when Atwoods had them but would really like to start a flock of around 6.
Beautiful blocks, Kassaundra. And I loved your sunset pics. We aren't that far from you but live down in a "hollow" so I miss the sunset unless we walk up to the top of the hill.
Hi Erin! Have fun with the goats. They are fabulous animals. We have had pygmys and Nigerian dwarfs for three years now and I've learned so much. We love them dearly.
I got three in March. They are huge - much bigger than the other breeds I also picked up (SS, astrolorps, RR's, EE's, and Welsummers). They are very friendly and curious. I named them the three Madams - Madam Curie, Madam Bovary, and Madam Butterfly)- lol. Can't wait to see their eggs...
