Tricia, where do you get the time and energy for all that you do? I need me some of that energy!
And boy, oh boy, am I already looking forward to your goodies! Remember how fast they sold out back in August and be sure you get help from some others to make plenty to sell!
So that means I need to start hatching more for the sale?
I think late April would be best. March is still much too cold and we can still get snow that month. That would be terrible, to get snowed out instead of rained out!
At this point I do not have much of anything I could even offer as I...
I can't say how that happens! They are on dirt either in the brooder room where it doesn't get swept as much as I would like or they are outside. They are on dirt and grass as I like them to be as natural as possible. I do not have orange dirt like most people though. I live in farm country...

It was that far because we went mostly the back way to shelby...if I had known 74 would have been that deserted in the morning - we would have taken 74 - It may have saved us 5+ miles.
Of course I didn't even do the speed limit but a couple of times.....
I was driving so slow because...
I love where we had it! Tons of parking room, no one got stuck or jammed in and it is probably easy to find (I followed Chickychickybaby! )
I think it was best there because, as Tricia said, it was big and free, good bathrooms, concession stand and wonderful, terrific people like Tricia and her...
I was going to bring my cooler but really didn't have anything to put in it.
Well, I thought not until Jackie and I started to eat the chocolate chex bars! And the icing melted off of my cupcake and I had to lick it out of the wrapper!
Now I want more cupcakes! I got 2 and ate both! LOL Jackie got the cookie and she liked it, I guess. I didn;t hear anything but lips smacking so it must have been good!
It was totally terrific!
I had a great time and I know that Debra, Jackie and Kimberly with Nicole and Todd, did too. Todd was very happy Kimberly did not get more birds and with Sandy's beautiful birds right there, too!
I never got to come over and speak Sandy but you always had a great crowd...
Thank you so much, Kimberly and Nicole!!!!! They came over and helped me catch up all the birds and get them situated in their cages in the truck. They are all bungee corded down and I only have to put the chicks in the back of the set and we can leave.
We'll meet them along with a truck full...
I bet there will be Orpingtons for sale.
I was going to bring a few buff pullets but I have someone coming Sunday to pick them up.
I know someone with a gorgeous blue Orpington roo for sale down here in SC and maybe a pullet to go with him. She can't make the sale tomorrow or she would have...
Uhhhhh, we are supposed to clean up the chickens? I wanted to wash some of the white bantam Cochins today but as I sit here eating breakfast at 1 pm I know that isn't going to fit my schedule.
I still have to feed everyone and finish topping off all the waterers. And come 6 pm I am...
Okay, if all works out then I will also be bringing 3 Saxony drakes, 5 mths old, 1 Pekin drake, also 5 mths old and a Fawn/blue/white Runner drake that is 2 months old.
A few Guinea keets and some Muscovy ducklings, I think I already mentioned those.
I keep finding cages but I still think I am...

The only time I heard off a Vet showing up to check was when...
