Ninya is a white chinese, but she is doing everything you have described. Right now she is burying the ggs in the hay and I'm having to dig them out. -

Awwww, they are gorgeous! And look what Ninya did today! Her egg is in the upper right. Clockwise compared to an Australorp chicken, a quarter, a pullet egg and three bantie eggs. I wasn't home when she laid her egg. Do geese sing an egg song like my chickens? -

Thank you. I think so too. My brother-in-law is not well liked by gander Charlie. He charges the BIL all the time and "yells" (honks loudly) at him. I guess geese know who doesn't appreciate them. BIL is always teasing "If you split it's tongue will it be more quiet" or "When are you... -

Thought I'd post a few new pictures of Ninya and Charlie and give an up-date on them. In the background in the first picture is their goose house in the goose yard. It still needs a coat of paint and some shingles but it is cozy and blocks the winds. We have had temps in the mid to low 30s... -

Pretty girl. Was out taking pictures of some Cochin roos for comparison purposes and the gees came up to see what I ws doing. They began preening and talking...so they got their pcitures taken too. Charlie and Ninya. -
