The African and Chinese goose thread!!

I'm glad she stayed away from "working" on his truck a third time. It's a rather large pipe, so there is plenty of room lol,
I love all the silly things they do unless it hurts them but since I only have 2 they are my children to me, my real ones are grown. I joke with my fiancé that the geese are our children, since we are kind of past having the "real" children (together) stage. lol

Sometimes I have to watch myself, I talk to them as if they were human. What I worry about is if someone (non goose person) hears me.... They might think I'm a bit looney! lol

Join the club, when I am with non chicken/duck/ geese folks I tend to talk about my kids[flock] and they all think I am a bit looney. Thats whats nice about BYC we're all looney and no one cares

Hello,
I am so glad I found this thread. We have a African gray goose that we imprinted on us after reading the book, "Duck,There's a Goose In The House" Specials is a pet goose. Meaning Specials lives in the house with us and goes out with us on the town or family parties with us just as though you would a pet dog. Specials has his/her own bed, feeding area, and is diapered most of the time. Unless its bath time or just going for a stroll on the property.
Specials has a lot of fans. LMBO We take him in any store that doesn't say no pets allowed, and now when we don't bring Specials ppl will scold us for not bringing Speicals in.
Here's some pics below, and BTW you all have some very beautiful geese!

And yes I'm guilty of feeding Specials dip on his chips once in a while

BB pretty goose you have. Stay away from the human foods though (like chips and dip) you love your goose and I would hate for it to become sick. Be sure you can allowing lots of grazing time as that is the bulk of a healthy goose diet (80-90%) with feed/grain making up the rest.
