Quail nails are to long

What kind of flooring are they on? A photo of your setup may be more helpful than trying to describe it. There may be an environmental adjustment you can make which would allow them to naturally maintain their nail length themselves, failing that you can always clip

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

I saw you found our quail forum. I was going to suggest you post there for ideas. We trim a cross-beaked hen's beak with an electric fingernail file/dremel thing, but I'd assume that might be a bit overkill for quail nails.

We're glad you're here!

Sounds like you got some good advice already. Cat nail clippers are great for trimming tiny nails. I'm not sure how much quail scratch compared to chickens, but perhaps some small pavers or stones around high traffic areas can help file things down as they move about.
