Yes, I'd like to know how the second poster got brown eggs from a Cal Grey. You obviously have a Barred Rock and not a Calif. Grey as Cal. Greys lay pure white eggs. If you have a Cal Grey or Calif. White that even lays a tinted egg, it's not a true California Grey.

Another example of misinformation on the net. Excuse me, but a California Grey lays a white egg. Do some research if you have a barred bird and brown eggs you most likely have a barred rock but you definately do NOT have a Calif. Grey. I've had them off and on for nearly fifty years.
