got my STc-1000 in the mail a few days ago, tried wiring it up for a light bulb as the heat source, first attempt was a fail haha but on the second try i was able to make it work.
once i got the light bulb working, i took apart the hovabator incubator and re wired it with the STC-1000 removing...
my Stc-1000 should be here Monday im excited...will be also adding another light socket to the ice chest and seeing if i can get a more even tamp throughout all of it to add more eggs of course :-)
it seems like a simple way to control the temp similar wireing, and i see that its digital, with probably more accuracy , will be ordering from ebay hopefully not too long

you can add whatever you want that way, but i might recommend not adding them day after day, but maybe in weekly groups. i try to leave at least 5 days between groups so i can clean the hatcher between hatches.

To be honest i just mimicked a lot of different treads on home made incubators
1 about the wireing the thermostat with the light , the fan what people used for heat sinks ect. If i where to male a copy of my original incubator coast would be around 70-80 depends if i put a fan in the hatcher
With staggerd hatches does it matter howany different breeds/ eggs from different days you add in the incubator i mean maybe add them in groups of 4-5 eggs not 1 at a time lol

Haha thanks for the sarcazim , but for a beginner im happy with the reults , things ill do different next time is adjust my heat source closer to the water thermostat so i can have more of an even temp threwout the incubator

Well since i only have 1 incubator i was thinking of making a hatcher so a box with heat and container of water for humidity lol
