Sadly, we are also finding ourselves washing most of our eggs now. Just enough to get them clean, but for some reason they almost always seem to need it now ;) I'm looking into making a "contraption" suitable for washing small numbers of eggs.... - JC- R_Chickens

We wipe off any bedding or the occasional "dirt' or other substance on the shells. For those of you who don't wash... Do you reuse your cartons? Don't they get dirty? I would be concerned about making a breeding ground for nasties in the cartons. Here in PA you are supposed to wash in mild...- R_Chickens
