I've heard about that too....but I like to give the girls a break every now and then. You guys are so lucky to be getting that many eggs. I recently andded two new hens...maybe they are just stressed at the moment. Oh well...just twiddeling my thumbs waiting for spring to come again.!!

My chickens are being darlings this morning, I walked into the coop with their morning feed and a handfull of grapes and they all hoped on my legs and patiently waited for their treats. Now if only i would get more eggs... I'm down to 2-3 a week
