    I'm at day 17 and getting anxious. I'll candle tomorrow or the next day and see how things are doing but it won't be long now. I'm helping a friend with this as she has had trouble hatching but so far the incubator has been fine. I hope I'm following the directions well enough to get a hatch...

    I don't think 39 will hurt. My broody sat on her eggs when it dropped to 28 and she did fine. I just made sure the water wasn't frozen.

    I am incubating for the first time. A friend loaned me her Brinsea and I have 15 eggs in it, all bantams. She wanted me to try it as her hatch rate hasn't been good and thought maybe it was her eggs. I think mine are good since I had a Wyandotte hatch two out of three of the same type of eggs...
