I posted these over in the hoop coop thread, and I thought I would share it here as well.
The nest boxes are just attached to a sheet of plywood, I wanna say either a half inch or 5/8ths maybe that's part of the rear of the coop and helps to support the hoop. I used 2x3's for the roof...
Oh dear, I'm afraid I'm going to have to eventually find that thread and show it off to my girlfriend so she can get new ideas for our apartment and brag about what she's done with the place so far.
Cracked the toilet seat at the apartment here and replaced it. Thinking of using the cracked seat to make a viewing port over the nest boxes. they're on a big sheet of 1/2 plywood and even myself at 6'4" can't look over it where the vent area is at. But a little port there would be just about...

I just missed taking a picture of it earlier, but I had a couple of my girls up on a sawhorse out in their pen. Stuff like that will what you want to do. Can probably just lash some tree branches together for perches like that.
You near Mombasa? I had a roommate for a year in college here in the states that was from there.
Plenty of ventilation there in your coop, definitely what you would want with you being so close to the equator. Be sure to offer plenty of shady spots for your birds to hide out in. And adding...
My mom has told me a story of one time when this one brood mare she had way back in the day was about to be breed and the stallion got her right up next to the fence. After that Mom said that she's always looked a little disappointed in the session afterwords.
Two years ago all I did was slap a couple of 2x4's to a pallet to make a table in my old coop. Just barely fit into the coop. Last winter I tried a hanging a pallet from some chains in my old coop, but it was kind of a pain in the butt to keep it from swinging around too much and spilling...
