post your chicken coop pictures here!

I would add some windows in the front for more light.    And the advice to paint ASAP is good advice.  Nice Job. The rafter ventilation is Ideal. If you have raccoons in area, they can squeeze thru there.  Good to secure with hardware cloth.   Chicken wire almost useless against raccoons.  Will you put in a pop door  at the bottom?

We have a pop door out to a run for the ducks and the chickens hop up over it to free range. Thanks for the advice on the hardware cloth. We will add a window soon to it. We are going to add on next year for goats.

Here is mine, we are still working on it but will be nice when we are done. The coop itself is 8x8 and the yard or playground will be 12x22, complete with dirt bath. The coop has a large window on each side 2 stain glass windows in front and two chicken doors in the back. I have a totally of 8 milk crates for their nest and a roost. I think they will be very happy.

Thanks - 2+ coats on exterior & plan on painting inside (now considering a polyurethane spray), but so far even w/ all this rain there has been no issue w/ moisture due to proper ventilation (I also use a poop hammock under their roost which I clean out daily & the floor is laminated).

Yeah, but every little bit helps.
