I would like to share with you all an accomplishment that I have achieved. A year ago today I embarked on one of the longest hardest journeys anyone like me could take. I decided after 14 years at two packs a day that I was going to quit smoking. Life threw me curve balls every chance it got and...
Yeah I used Chantix. It's like anything else its a tool you have to work with it. I still think about cigs but dont have any strong cravings. Its more of a passing thought. I was afraid that I would be edgy but nope. It was a saving grace for me.
My nose is working. It seems I now have super sensitive nose. No hacking after a shower. CLothes, car, house smell tons better. No waking up with dry mouth. Thats all so far.
Well i'm on day 6 of being smoke free. I have to say that Chantixs has been a blessing. I have made the transition from a 2-2.5 pack a day smoker to ZERO with no stress or anxiety. I'm feeling better everyday. I'm able to smell now that is good and bad, lol. I've been cleaning the house and car...
Day 6
It has been a better day today. Still on about a half to three quarter pack of cigs. I start my second pack of meds tomorrow which ups my dosage. Still no dreams at this time. I dream alot normally but I think the meds may be suppressing them. Thanks again for all your stories and good...
Day 5
Still trucking along. Had a stressful night at work lastnight but didnt seem to smoke more. Today i've had the feeling of struggling. Been down and out today. Seems i'm down to smoking half to 3/4 pack a day.
Day 4
Still no dreams. I have went from smoking 2 to 2.5 packs a day to just a pack. THis is amazing to me. I hadnt even realized it. SO far so good!!! Thanks again for all the encouragement!!!! My counselor called this morning and was very uplifting. Hope everyone has a great day!!
Day 3
I had a good night sleep. No dreams. Cigs do have a different taste today. Have noticed a small decrease in my smoking.
Thanks for the support friends you're awesome!!!!!!
Thanks everyone for the great posts. The encouragement is most appreciated!! Congrats to those of you that are now non-smokers!!!!
Day 2
Had a restless night. Fell asleep finally after 3am. No dreams. Cigarettes are starting to have a weird taste.
My blog is a day behind due to me taking the...
