Thank goodness we had someone build it for us as it would have taken forever for me to do it and two of the boulders are between 800 and 1000 pounds! My friend that built it did it wholesale but it was still pretty pricey ... guess I cannot put a price on the therapeutic nature of sitting there...

Phase II is now complete with the weir boxes and skimmer covered along with a reworking of the waterfall on the left side of the pond .... the babies seem to love it!
The finished pond! Well, Phase I anyway. Our good friend that does landscape and hardscape work is going to add a small retaining wall on the left side of the pond area for a small pad for us to sit and watch Turner and Tucker as the are sooo relaxing to watch, this was all a project of love...
Well as they say, "Like a duck takes to water" ... our babies had never been in water too deep to touch bottom and they took to their new pond immediately ... even went in by themselves and are not afraid of the waterfalls. Sweet!
Here is the new water feature being installed with two waterfalls and both a bottom filter and skimmer for our two Pekin's. I am not sure how this is all going to work out but they will hopefully love it. Going to have a biofilter system so I think this will control what the ducks put out (if...
