Those are really cute, but unfortunatly it is way too early to tell, wait until they are 4 weeks old, boys usually have their comb coming at that time, at least 4 of my did.
Same here, but I think that it is hard to sex them when they are day old, that why hatcheries sell them as strait run. Somebody here said that the darn under the eye will be different under girl eye, just a dot and under the boys eyes it is all the way around, well I found it to be not true.

Thank you for letting know, but I am done this year, since I purchased 4 smooth bantam blue cochins a week ago. But I will might be intrested next year. I have a quick question about baby cochin, that peep looks smaller then the rest of them, and I don't see any shoulder feather coming out, and...
Oh my goodness, you have gorgeous birds. Do you sell eggs for hatching? I would love to have some Queenie eggs, she is gorgeous, just look at her color.
I got some potriadge this year, both of those died, one right away the other lived for 4 days. Now one of my blues looking kind of sickish, I do hope it will not die. I have red frizzle roo, was hoping for some red chicks, I guess it is not the time, got to wait on those. Post some pictures of...

That would be really good idea. I would like to make some money of my chickens, selling eggs around this area is not really good idea, almost everybody I know is having chickens. So, selling good eggs and little chicks would be ideal. Plus enjoy a good looking birds. So, where can I find good...
Thank you, that what I thought. I just have hard time finding bantam smooth cochins, I have ordered with couple of local feed stores, but alas, nobody else orders and they can't place only my order alone. I only need around 5 chicks. Since hatcheries can't sex bantams I know I will end up with...
did you hatch him yourself or purchased from hatchery. it seems to me that it is hard to find that color from hatcheries, i really wanted that color, but alas, my end up white, which is still pretty.
