Same issue. It shows the video page but no video an keeps asking for name an password no matter how many times you type it in. I tried it with IE too an it did the same thing.
No, not really. I have had to replace one before but dont know for sure why. I even spilled water on one an its still going. The one in the brooder has been pooped on pretty bad to an its still going. I have had to replace several power supply cords though. There not water tight though.

Basics? If it is wired you plug it in the wall an run a Ethernet cord from the router to the camera. Wifi ones just plug in a need to be in range of the wifi router.

No. You just need to know your IP address. I have a domain but wcstory is just using there IP address
You dont have to have it but it really helps to have a static IP address(one that does not change)
