20 chicks gone, could it be a hawk?
It's entirely up to you. If you leave your birds out, and especially if you leave them out and then everybody leaves home so the chickens are unattended, then you take the risk that something will eat your chickens. Personally, losing 20 birds in a few hours time doesn't sound like a safe...- Oregon Blues
