The TSC nearest me only carries the 250 watt in red, and 125 & 250 watt in clear. I really don't want to use the clear. I'm trying to look into other stores that could carry less wat bulbs for poultry.

Oh ok I got it. As of right now, where I live is kinda bonkers in the weather and temp. range. We had 40-50 degree weather not that long ago, and now were looking at 60-80 degree weather right now, with on and off rain lol

Thank you so much. So since I won't be brooding in the winter, should I still have it at 55 for weeks 5-7? After what week, roughly, can I stop using the heat lamp?

What watt bulb did you get from TSC? Where I live, the store only had 250watt. I feel like that may be too much heat for ducklings.
