I have 2 RIR at 26 weeks. I have 3 Delawares at 22 weeks. No eggs yet from anybody. The reds have very red combs and wattles, but they've shown no interest in the laying boxes. Delawares aren't so red, but ditto with ignoring the boxes. I think it's a chicken conspiracy. Get gullible humans...
