What did you do in the garden today?

I understand your dilemma, and could be you're right (I'm not an expert at this), but I wouldn't want to seal off the wound totally, as that, for me, sounds just as bad, if not worse. If it was my problem, I'd take the chance of it getting through the wet weather OK.

What did you do in the garden today?

I think the Bordeaux mix is a good idea, but I wouldn't be to quick to use a latex paint. Think about if you had a deep cut on your skin, you'd want it to breathe, right? Rubber solution would seal it! That includes sealing any bad stuff in! I've found this which might help. Good luck, whichever...

What did you do in the garden today?

Was it a disease? Or just lack of water because of the Climate Change push this year?

What did you do in the garden today?

Glad you hed a good Weekend! I agree with you. It's something I noticed when I came to live in France. The soups (and baked beans in tomato sauce, etc) here were sugarless, and took me a long time to get used to. I'd been too used to the over-sugared ones in the UK. We've got loads of tomatoes...

What did you do in the garden today?

We got some rain! :celebrate It came overnight with lots of thunder and lightening... about half an inch, I'd say. We were wondering, because yesterday the trails in the sky were plentiful - tic-tac-toe grids all around, which morphed into dirty, grey, man-made clouds... but we did get some rain!

What did you do in the garden today?

There are a few home producers here so, it's easy to buy genuine honey, if you make the effort. I use around half of the amount you do. I only use it in green tea, but I do drink quite a lot.

What did you do in the garden today?

I've heard there's still a bit of fake honey around here. I keep away from the squeezy plastic bottles and anything too cheap and tacky looking. I've heard that some companies give their bees a sugar solution throughout the year (which, correct me if I'm wrong, is usually given to bees just...

What did you do in the garden today?

    It did smell good before trying. I think that everything has to have a use by date, over here. Honey kind of makes a mockery of that - it doesn't go unnoticed though, I'm not the only one who sees it;

I wouldn't say there was much difference. They're easy to grow from seed.

What did you do in the garden today?

We tried some yogurt which was 6 months past its sell by date, a few weeks ago... it didn't taste any different from fresh. Oh btw, does anyone know why they put a use by date on honey? :idunno

What did you do in the garden today?

Good advice! And we need to be defending ourselves, even now, before TSHTF. People need to start being aware of their online presence, and how it's being monitored and used against them. There are many things which can be done to stop giving personal info away... and it's not too difficult...

What did you do in the garden today?

Yep, you really need to be acting like a squirrel and spread it about, if you can. An underground bunker is great, if well-hidden.

What did you do in the garden today?

I know the feeling! We're supposed to get rain tomorrow, but I won't hold my breath. Been through this scenario a few times now. They're saying that water levels are at crisis point, but farmers are still gushing it onto the corn. Do you ever get the feeling that you're being played around with?

What did you do in the garden today?

You'd be better layering it, as wisteria grown from seed can take 7 years upwards to flower. Layered cuttings can flower the next year.

What did you do in the garden today?

I assume that dusty mildew is what we know as powdery mildew? If so, we had problems with it earlier in the year on cucumber plants. Look here and here for some remedies. The baking soda spray seemed to work with the neem oil, if I remember correctly. Good luck!
