The Girls didn't seem to notice the cold last night so fingers crossed for tonight. I was locking them up tonight and didn't put gloves on. That was a mistake. I can't believe how cold my hands got in a few minutes. But I was distracted by their first eggs!!! Almost eight months old.

I'm nervous-tonight is the first cold night for my girls.

Not the best, but we aren't friends yet. The black one is very nervous but the white is the leader and most bold. Mealworms seem to be helping my cause.

Howdy folks! Well, I've been waiting a couple months on birds from a breeder but it fell through. Does anyone have healthy, reasonably sane backyard layer (rocks, orps, EEs, sussex, dottes, etc.) pullets for sale? I'm looking for 2- 3.
