morning! i have eggs that are on day 21 today... no peeps yet but have my fingers crossed. I am wondering though.... just before lock down, I candled them. They didn't look like they were taking up the whole egg.... When I used two lights on each end, I could see "through"... I could see...

My eggs from crfarm are doing great - air sacs look awesome! Guess the "LIVE EMBRYOS" statements all over the box did the trick!! (although I did wonder what the carrier was thinking when the left it on my doorstep! maybe a box of cyborgs?!)

Evening everyone !! have 15 eggs in bator from crfarm... candled quickly and i think i only have 3 clears.. but only day 4.. so we'll see.... i am super excited to have so many developing! my last shipment was pretty scrambled ..... wish me luck!!

I use an oversized dog bowl...but plan to make a special feeder from 4 inch PVC with 25% cut out, so it looks ike a big "C" ; Hubby is making a bracket so it can slide in and out of for cleaning. I also think I may put a few holes in the bottom for drainage. but maybe not... i'll see how it goes.

Have two easter chickies this morning! one hatched last night and woke up to another... little early (supposed to be Saturday!) but thats okay ! out of 30 eggs.. I am left with 2 BBS; 4 Light sussex, 5 silky/cochin cross and 1 silver sussex in lockdown.... 12 out of 30, the shipped eggs...
