I have some black jersey giant chicks avaliable. . My delawares chicks I just sold..
Jerseys are 3.00 each
Delawares are 6.00. .
I have 6 jerseys from the 15th hatch and 5 just hatched 21st.
Have ya tried to have a talk with the bear? Say hey look ,ya gotta stay outta my coop. Give a piece of cheese.. pat him on the head . Part friends..
Sorry I guess I'm in a funny mood
people think that birds that are small and fast are flighty.... I have a small flock of silver leghorn. . They have a wing span.. can fly high.. try to catch them they can move fast.. they still eat out of my hand.. there tame but there fast..
I've seen them advertised on craigslist from time to time..
One farm in Ellensburg was selling at 7.50 a pound.. that seems high to me..
if you know where you can take them to process or able to do it.. you can find young roosters free on craigslist. . That might a cheaper option.
I had a young cockerel recently tryed to eat a whole feather. . Got stuck in his throat. . I tryed to get it out.. he finally got it all down. . He felt poorly for few days.. stoop around like that.. she might just ate something she shouldn't have.
