You certainly are defensive about this breed. If you must know, I wanted to purchase a pair from rarebreedauction. Needed help soon. Only got your answers. Sorry like I said didnt mean to ruffle your feathers, The only thing that does bother me is the size difference. There is a big diff between...
I have bought from Greenfire before many times. Just dont know what to think of this breed. I think the Legbar is a better layer then their website says. I have 30 legbar hens that lay as well as my leghorns and eat less
I'm just asking if someones knows. I was impressed with 13 lbs, But cant find anything that says over ten lbs where these critters come from. Wondering if anyone has seen a 13lb Bielefelder roo. Dont you question anything? you shouldnt get so ruffled.
Everything I have found written in Europe nothing says over 4 kg. everything written in the US is over ten lbs. and I doubt that gemans dont know how to raise chickens. Even John Harrison in the UK says 4 kg. http://www.harislau.info/bielefelder
I'll look for it, it didnt lbs, it said 3.5 to 4 kg. 4 kg being being a bit under 9 lbs. Even if your read articles in the UK you never hear of 13 lbs or anything over 4 kg
Can someone explain the difference between the greenfire farms size and what I read in Germany. Greenfire says the roosters can go up to lbs. Every german article says lbs. Thanks
