    Hello! We use ice cubes in the water dishes and let them free range to find shade. If the weather they find the cool on their own.

    Hey! Just so everyone knows, the Floodwood Feed Mill will have a chicken swap at 8am on saturday the 4th of May. They have my favorite feeds and they sell 50lb bags at great prices. I bought scratch for $10. (they also have a bunch of "brown egg layer" chicks for sale. Really nice people!

    Finally getting snow!!! after 2 and a half days of rain. I guess the annual "January thaw" is over for this year, but we are that much closer to spring!!! The coop is insulated here and has been like the tropics!!!!!!
