I will feed out one bird a week back to the birds through the winter
Do you cook this? or cut it up? or just toss the carcass in? Sorry if this is a dumb question...
The 2 in question are EE's...not sure which one laid the CUTEST and most Beautiful lil greenish/blue egg for me! ;) They're about 20 weeks...I'm not really worried..more excited to get more of those purty eggs for my basket!! :D
Hi all! I realize that all pullets are different and it takes awhile for them to "even out" with laying, but is it "ok" if they were to lay an egg and not have any others for a week or more?
Here's a pix of my 6 1/2 old silkie out free ranging..she/he hangs with my 4 Polish and an EE that are the same age and were brooded together! This lil one is SO nosy! lol
OK. ours is in a dispenser type deelly that Mike made for me! Grit on one side, oyster on the other.....I can tell it doesn't get eaten cuz the levels don't seem to be going down! lol Soooo another question...guess I'm full of them today...after a hen's been broody and starts to lay eggs again...
kind of chicken related in that I don't want to kill them...what can i use for gigantic ant hills? thought of borax but am afraid if my ladies eat it they'll get sick?
