I love the gamebirds I've never had one before but I've always admired their pics. The only name I can think of is Legs of course because they have those long legs.
We lost our male guinea today and the female is broken hearted. I was wondering if anyone is in the Southern Indiana area around Louisville, Ky. is interested in selling guinea keets? Please let me know. Thank you
Make sure you find one with a good temperment. The meanest roo I ever had was a new hampshire red. I bought him from a feed store and he was suppose to be a pullet. He was the biggest sneak he would hide behind things and attack all the hens, I couldn't go outside without a fly swatter he...
I'm so sorry for your losses. That poor drake sitting on the eggs after the momma got killed. I hope he survives I know they grieve for their mates. Good luck with the eggs I hope they hatch for you. I hope you catch whatever did this and your remaining flock stays safe.
Your chickens are gorgeous. I love the pic of them looking out the bedroom window. No wonder Frieda cried when she had to go the coop. They had the whole bedroom to theirselves. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
Hi and welcome to BYC. Yes your allowed to say hi and always encouraged to do so. It takes a while to get used to this forum but you will get the hang of it. Where in Indiana are you located. As you see on the map in my avitar I'm right across the river from Louisville, kY.
Here is a picture of my hens helping my husband remove a tree stump. They worked for several hours and they finally removed the stump. If anyone needs weeds, grass, flowers, or tree stumps removed call me I'll send my girls right over.
Holly love the pics of your chicks. The turkens are so strange looking. You'll have to knit it a muffler when the weather gets cold.
I've gotten 3 of those tiny eggs over the years. I've saved all of mine. Thanks for sharing your babies and I wanted to let you know that Sissy continues...
Looks good it's going to be a nice roomy coop for your chickens. I'm in southern Indiana here and we have lots of rain heading our direction. It looks like 6 straight days of rain. I hope it doesn't come in your direction.
Love the cornish chickens. Ive only seen pictures of them but they remind me of little tanks. You'll have to take some of pics when you get them. I would love to see.
I'm so sorry for your loss she was a beautiful duck. I've got a hen missing now I will be checking the garage and shed to see if she possibly went in there and it was then closed up.
Dakshan why don't you post in the emergency section of BYC? Maybe someone can help you. Is there anyway you can take your chicken to the vet? I don't know if they need antibiotics but if you have any electrolites to give the sick hen. I'm sorry you are having all these problems. I wish I...
