We visited the ducks on Thursday and they seem to be very happy at the Funny Farm Sanctuary, there are 2 other Muscovies and lots of other duck friends. I'm so relieved they adjusting so well.
They have room for them for them at Funny Farm, so our babies are leaving Saturday if no other offers of a home. They have Muscovies now at Funny Farm so Lisyla will have her own kind to talk to. I'm worried about little Niblet and hope she will adjust quickly and not get picked on.
I'm trying to hold on to them until it gets warmer but I'm not going to be able to take care of them much longer. I contacted Funny Farm Rescue and I am waiting to hear back if they have room for them. We're so sad, we were hoping they could have a family to love them.
sarasweatman That would be great! I would have to wait until after the 1st of the month when I will have money for gas. Could you pm me so I can get more information about your neighbor?
kibaby226- I might be taking a trip to Georgia in February if I can get the money together, so I could drop them off on my way. Could you tell me more about yourself?
Thank you tompich1 and bantamsrmyfav. I have been getting them kale and other things to eat with food stamps to stretch the feed. I found out I will not be getting alimony after May 2013 since my ex-husband is retiring and I don't have any idea how much half of his pension is going to be so I...
The cost of feeding and caring for them is becoming too much since my son and I both lost our jobs. I can not have them outside where I live, so they have lived inside with us. I would be so grateful for a home where they will be loved as much as they are here, especially if we could visit them...
I have to find a new home for our babies, very sad
for us as we can no longer afford them. They are 1
female Mallard, 1 Male mixed Mallard/Muscovy, 1
male Mallard, and 1 female Muscovy. All were
hatched and hand raised by us in our home, but
could adapt to living outdoors. I could...
