I desperately wanted whites UNTIL after this year's crew of a million whites that were hatched. I hope that I do not see any more whites for a long time.
Does anyone dust their peas with Sevin ? I can dust all of mine but the adults. It would stress them out too bad. I got my boys when they were 6 months old and kinda left them alone and the same for the girls. So I haven't handled my 2 breeding pair much, so touching is off limits? :/
I think laying season is OVER!!!! YEA!!!!!!!! No eggs in weeks and I am sooooooo happy. The last 5 eggs that I had under 2 broodys (chicken and duck) don't even ask, have been narrowed down to 2. 3 of the eggs were not fertile. Thank goodness. Now it's a waiting game. Not looking forward to...

I had 1 pea to hatch and the other eggs weren't fertile. I am so relieved. But I still have 5 pea eggs under a duck. No other pea eggs layed and I am so happy. And the 1 pea that was hatched was sold 48 hours after it was hatched. :D

Since this one was 2 days early, I knew that I could not leave it in the incubator until Friday, so I had to take it out of the incubator. It took about 5 seconds for me to take him out and the lid was back on. No other eggs had started zipping, so there shouldn't be and shrink wrap. I guess...
