    I went to visit a friend today, and came home with a pickup truck load of irises (no kidding on the truck load part). So someones going to be busy. I got a few new colors though (bronze, blue, white, red and pink).

    Thanks. It's amazing that a lot of the plants that we consider ''weeds'' actually are very nutritious and many of them have medicinal properties.

    I've grown it in the past, but never from seed, did yours come back in the spring? I don't think mines going to come back.

    A couple of the flowers are I have blooming right now: I'm working on my ''weed propagation'' project right now. I have Violets, Curly dock, Burdock, Dandelions, Mullein, Chickweed, Plantain, and many others. (as well as my other plants) Most of these ''weeds'' have medicinal properties...

    Interesting...I see you are using news paper pots, how are they working for you?

    I've done it in the past, but without much success. The easiest plant I've rooted is mint, it's ready to plant in just a couple of days. That's a great idea!
