    Well it's SUPPOSED to be a 50% ratio of male and female. The boys can be a little agressive, I have never had female Rhode Island Reds. I do LOVE my red sex links, they are awesome layers.

    The little ones are Rhode Island Reds. Do you mean the sign said "Strait Run" or "Pullets"? You wont be able to sex the Rhode Island Reds until they start developing combs and wattles. Strait Run is both male and female Pullets are all female (with a 10% chance of males)

    Yep, the week olds are Rhode Island Reds and the five week olds are Red Sex Links.
