    everyone says that about my RSL. But she has been red for around 3 weeks The other girls are starting to catch up to he another member said that they can be that way for weeks. But usually it will happen just before they start to lay.

    Sorry I just seen your question about the deer mix. I got it at Tractor Supply, its a bag of seed mix. Clovers and things. They seem to love it and I feel less guilt not being able to let them out to free range...

    I bought it at Tractor Supply. Hunters use it to grow a medley of clover etc. to attract deer to their blinds...I am sure any seed would do though....

    Mother clicker.....hahahahahahahah that is brilliant for a mean one. Spock and Kirk are funny names too....the BSL are very dark and evil looking at first. Mine has grown on me and become one of my favorite. I think she is beautiful now and by far the most photogenic :)

    Who knew that a couple of birds could bring someone so much joy. Never expected that part of raising back yard chickens. I sit out by the coop and watch them daily. Sometimes only a few min and sometimes I could fall asleep. These girls have not started laying. I am about to go crazy waiting...
