    Be on the lookout for a friend/companion. Goats are herd animals and just do not do well alone. It is really in the goat's best interest when sellers indicate they will not sell only one kid to a home without additional goats.

    Watch that cold...can progress quickly, especially during this season. For improved immunity feed oregano and garlic with a squirt of B Complex vitamins (from Walmart). Just put it in a peanut butter and honey sandwich...down the hatch.

    Heard the old saying...if water can get out, a goat can get out. Aren't they sweet animals! Glad you are not having difficulty trimming hooves. If age toughens those nails, trim after a rain when the grass is damp. So much easier.
