    September Hatch-A-Long!

Ooh... Bad luck :( You have to admit though, Shipped Eggs are unpredictable; like the ones that explode or just the whole batch isn't fertile... Unpredictable. That is ok, I always look at the eggs during Lockdown- it is fun to watch them move, but when they "Bite the dust" , it is hard...

I was hand turning my batch, untill they all were killed by some stupid glitch in the incubator temp. gage, I only had 15, so it wasn't that bad, but 4 incubators, my, you have some responsibility on your hands.

:) At least I knew the males are hen-feathered :) Umm, well at 5 days an embryo may be hard to identify, I have the same trouble with brown eggs. I would have someone take a pic. while you are candeling it, then candle it at day 10, then compare... Perhaps this will help :)

    September Hatch-A-Long!

Huh, I have always heard they were the weakest chicken-delicate and die very easily. Hmmm...I will have to have a talk with some of my friends...LOL Well, that proves wrong almost everything I have heard about Sebrights. :)

    September Hatch-A-Long!

:( All of the embryos are dead! I want to smash that company...(Brower) Their incubator has such a horrible temperature management...The light flashes on and off according to the temperature set at-99.5 for me, so after adding some water the temperature went up, well guess what that light isn't...

    September Hatch-A-Long!

Well, I am on day 4, I don't really see much but I am going to look at it and hopefully, by day 10, it will have healthy, growing embryos. Then again, such a dark shell it will take a bit to be able to see it.
