bought a new bulb for my candler.. 440 lumens!!!! i see babies bouncing.. those marans are still pretty hard to see but i can now see the air cells and i think a dot!! so better than nothing.and i can now see veining and dots bouncing in the EE eggs.. but it makes the creammy eggs minear...

ok so now rhere are over 7 doz eggs in my incubators.....since all hatching is done until oct 8th. we put more eggs in there to grow until then... i think my egg supplyer is liveing vicariously thru me since her family wont let her hatch more chicks... love the idea of all these fuzzy butts...

just got done modifying the junkubator#1 it now will hold 6 dozen eggs. yay!! now to get it back to temp so i can put the eggs back in....(put them in junkubator#2 during revamp of #1) #2 is my hatcher but the eggs in there arent due till monday so i figured itd be safe. so once #1 is back up...

i have 24 eggs incubating for a Oct 8th hatch. 8 black copper marans and a grab of wyodottes. home made bators with scores of issues, first hatch in them got 80percent hatch.(if i did the math correctly) wish me more luck on these!!
