From what I have read Opal is a recessive gene similar to Lavender, Lavender shouldn't have too dark or light areas in their feathering. The opal variety seems to make OEGs have white tails, wings, and breasts. From the third picture I would say Opal. Is that the true color of the chicken...- Veer67
