What is this?

We know it's Old English but we want to know what variety. We thought self blue but now we aren't sure. We think it could be Opal. The hen we are pretty sure is self blue as well.





 
From what I have read Opal is a recessive gene similar to Lavender, Lavender shouldn't have too dark or light areas in their feathering. The opal variety seems to make OEGs have white tails, wings, and breasts. From the third picture I would say Opal. Is that the true color of the chicken (sometimes cameras will change the color of the real bird)? Here's a link that should interest you:

I've already looked at that link. That's why I posted this because I'm still not positive. The rooster in the first three pictures is the same bird. The last picture is of the hen. When we entered them into a show, they told us that they were a lot lighter than most self blues but we're never told about Opal. So, I'm still not really positive. We just got some eggs hatched off and I'm STILL not positive. Lol.
