Hmm i'm still stumped as to what the other girl could be if not an EE or Ameraucana. The breeder said they're from the same hatch but they look sooo different.
Oh man, I hope they lay Blue eggs! Hubby would kill me otherwise, lol! It was my excuse to get his approval to bump my numbers up to 10 (keep in mind that when we first got into chickens in June, we were "just going to have 2 or 3", LOL.
Lol well the coop was open, they could have gone in if they wanted. I don't think the new girls have 100% mastered getting in and out of it (there is a ladder, but they all fly up/down) so i lifted them into the coop before I came back in.

The first ('wrong') one does have a small beard and muffs, but they're no where near as pronounced as the one that's clearly a splash. I'll try to get some better pics... all they wanted to do was snuggle up in the hay!
