thank you so much. looks like a bunch of my eggs stopped developing around day 11-12 for some reason.

eggs are due the 14th. candled not too long ago. since its my 2nd time hatch im not really sure how theyre supposed to look in development. not having the best feeling. i hope everything turns out well.

you cant. you have to hold the egg up to the flashlight or box or whatever youre using. youre looking for veins and a black blob and to see if the blob is moving.

humidity. humidity is a huge factor at lockdown. make sure your humidity is around 65%

i have 3 or 4 very tiny pips in the bobwhite eggs and most are internally pipped. none have hatched yet. i hope everything goes well and not like last time . not much action going on

lockdown is the last 3 days of incubation when you stop turning the eggs and raise the humidity so the chick can get into position and hatch.
