It never gets old when I start finding pullet eggs in with the big girl eggs..... it's always exciting. Seems like I've been waiting forever for these Blue wyandottes and BBS orps to start laying!!

I think they may be brothers too! There was another egg in the sussex coop today. Don't know if it was the same girl or not. Now if I'd only start finding them in the Orp coop........

Now I can start looking ahead to expanding on my wyandotte numbers. They were as hard to hatch as shipped eggs as my blue orps!!

Yesterday one of my 5 month old speckled sussex laid her first egg!!!! Then just now my 6 month old Blue Wyandotte laid her first egg!!!!! Yay!!! My husband asked me why I was so excited since I've got eggs running out of my ears from my laying flock. Now he really thinks I'm nuts.
