    I am not distrustful and do give our girls meat sometimes. The main reason I don't give to them very often is that it is too expensive to waste. ; )

    Geeze, we don't feed our chicks anything but chick feed until they are 12 weeks old. I didn't know you could feed them other food when they were that young.

    We do that with cauliflower. It's our little chicken piñata! The girls love it and it keeps them busy all day!
