I had to laugh at your post, RJ!! This is the time of year that we get tons of grasshoppers...everywhere. Me personally? I only feed plain yogurt to my girls. Each to his own, but if you ever have a sick chicken and you need to feed yogurt to them you should only feed plain, never flavored.

Here's a good idea that I just discovered today, and wanted to share! With fresh corn season coming to a close go to your local produce stand or farmers market and make a 'deal' with them...I did and it paid off big-time! I asked if they had any corn that wasn't all that good left and he...

I don't give my girls raw potatoes. While some people say it's safe if the potatoes are not greenish it's just not worth the risk for me...JMHO

My girls, too! One word of caution on the grass. I've seen/heard where grass can get "stuck" in their crop very easily when it's long strands of grass. So when I give it to mine I twist and break it up into small pieces...
