Yes your hen will most probably pass it on to her chicks! It happened to me but luckily all the chicks made it! Oh and my chicks were only 2 days old when they got it...

I have got another broody due on the 18th of August! Found her in our tree house, which we haven't been in for a while! I also found another nest of eggs(no broody yet) under our hay bale stack! I hope she also goes broody soon!

My broody has now got 5 out of 6 hatched! One of the chicks died in the shell!

I have three nests that will hopefully have broodies soon!

Actually they are due on Wednesday but I can already hear them chirping inside their eggs so I think there will be some little fluff balls tomorrow morning!

Tomorrow...tomorrow...tomorrow! I cant wait for tomorrow as my broody has got 14 eggs due and when I candled them earlier on (day 16) everything was still fine! Cant wait YAY!!!!!

I have two more broodies due on the 13th of August! They went broody together(on the same day, not in the same nest...! #1 has 11 eggs #2 has 12 eggs! Cant wait for them to hatch...
