    Ah, Chris, I didn't think of that! That might be a game changer! The UK has different standards for Ameraucana, though I didn't think they had poufy heads there. I forget to check on the location sometimes.

    That is one odd looking pea comb on this one. In fact, the whole bird looks off for pure Ameraucana. Almost looks like it may have something else in the mix. From the super bright red comb, I'd say male, but if you're sure of the age, there would probably be male pointy saddle feathers on it...
